In 2015 the locomotive was sold to Thompson Park Railway in Burnley and named Swallow, just like its full size counterpart. We then bought this powerful locomotive from Thompson Park to help Linda and the 125 HST on the busy days in the school holidays. |
Our coaches are sit a strides built by Cromar White, 4 of them came from Brookside miniature railway and the other 4 from the now closed Dobwalls Forest Railroad. A normal rake consists of 3 coaches for Linda or the 125 HST, Swallow and Ashleigh normally run with 4 however, on busy days it has been known for Ashleigh to pull a rake of 6 coaches.
On special occasions we also put our goods train on display. Normally the goods train only sees use when there is something that needs moving on the railway or we are doing maintenance on the track.
